2 new FISE qualifications for Akukon
Olli Salmensaari, MSc(Tech) has been granted AA level qualification and Janne Hautsalo, MSc(Tech) A level qualification in the field of acoustic design by FISE. Previously both Henrik Möller MSc(Tech) and Anssi Ruusuvuori MSc(Arch) have been granted the AA level qualification.

Helsinki Music Center has been opened to the public

New employees at Akukon
Two new employees have started at our Tallinn office in August. Ms. Maris Vohta as a technical assistant in the noise department and Mr Aleksandr Bondarenko as a junior designer in the audiovisual department.
Mr Kalle Mäkinen is the newest member in our office in Helsinki. Kalle is working as a consultant as well in noise as in accoustic department.

Designing of new building for Estonian national broadcasting company ERR
Since summer 2009 Akukon has been involved in design process of the new building for Estonian national boadcasting company ERR in Tallinn. Akukon acts as acoustical consultant helping in building and room acoustics and HEVAC noise abatement issues.

Akukon is participating in the design of the new mediafaculty of Tallinn University
TLÜ media school will get new premises for degree programmes for TV and cinema professionals. In the new building there will be a TV studio with sound and video control rooms, a sound and video post-production unit and a cinema theatre.
